Successful Bossa Event in Norrköping – Logistics and networking in focus

2025-01-16

Nearly 90 women gathered in Norrköping on January 14 to attend the first event of the year for the female logistics network Bossa.

The network, led by Hilda Hultén and Klara Eriksson from Dagens Logistik, serves as a meeting place for women in the industry. Port of Norrköping is a sponsor of the network and co-organized the event together with Rusta and PostNord TPL.

The day began with an inspiring logistics safari, starting at Port of Norrköping. Here, participants met Frida Bergman, a stevedore, who shared her experiences of working in the port and operating container cranes. At the same time, attendees got to witness a container vessel being loaded, offering a unique insight into port operations.

The next stop on the safari was Rusta’s warehouse, where participants were welcomed with an impressive coffee buffet. The three female warehouse managers shared their experiences and gave a tour of the facility, including the massive high-bay warehouse—one of the largest in Europe.

The journey continued with a visit to PostNord TPL’s automated warehouse for Stadium Online, followed by a tour of PostNord’s new state-of-the-art facility, Randmärket. Here, attendees also got a close-up look at Alltransport i Östergötland AB’s HCT electric truck, which transports goods for Stadium and Rusta in a unique collaboration between the companies.

The day concluded with an inspiring presentation by Malin Schäfer, newly appointed CEO of the leading automation company SSI Schäfer. She provided a future outlook on circular logistics and how the industry can become more sustainable.

After the presentations, Rusta treated participants to delicious poké bowls, which were greatly appreciated. Johanna Lager, Business Development Manager at PostNord TPL, spoke about their ongoing AI initiatives to optimize warehouse operations. Eva Lindell, Logistics Manager at Rusta, also shared updates on the company’s plans to expand its automated warehouse—an investment aimed at meeting future demands.

Bossa’s event in Norrköping turned out to be a memorable day filled with networking, knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and an incredible amount of energy!
