We welcome Sebastian Sandberg as a new sales representative! Sebastian has an extensive background in the logistics and recycling industries, with experience from several different positions. Most recently, he worked as a district manager at Remondis, one of Sweden’s and the world’s leading recycling companies. He has also been the business area manager at Foria and the M4 Group, as well as Sweden’s head at an international tire recycling company.

– In my new role as a sales representative, I will, together with our Marketing and Sales Manager, Magnus Grimhed, develop our sales work. I will also take over contact with several of the port’s customers. The ambition is for me to contribute to increased accessibility for both existing and new customers. This is a new industry for me, which feels incredibly exciting, but the sales work itself is not new, and I look forward to being part of Port of Norrkoping’s expansive journey, says Sebastian.

Sebastian lives with his partner, two daughters, aged five and eleven, and two dogs, a Siberian husky and a Border collie, in a house just outside Arkösund. In his free time, he loves diving and has been doing it for almost his entire life. For a time, he was also a diving instructor at Arkö Dive.

– I especially enjoy wreck diving, something that is plentiful along Sweden’s coast. On the east coast, we have brackish water, and the absence of shipworm means that the wrecks are in good condition, Sebastian says enthusiastically.

Sebastian has started his time at Port of Norrkoping  with an extended introduction and has already spent time in production, mainly in stevedoring.

– I have received a fantastic welcome and am incredibly impressed by the knowledge within the company. There is a tremendous work ethic here and a unique willingness to solve problems. I was also surprised by how broad and extensive the operations are. The time spent in production has been very important in getting to know the business and my colleagues. Working in production will continue to be an important part of my role. All of this, combined with a great atmosphere, lays the foundation for good service to our customers, says Sebastian.
